I was in color theory and I was unsure of what I wanted to draw for our next assignment. So, looking for inspiration, I decided to draw some personal work... but because I'm paranoid about who sees what I draw, I decided to draw something less cute and fluffy... and draw something more deep and mechanical. It's also a lot more improvised. I love improvising mechanical stuff.
Anyway, this is actually a "full" recreation of an old piece I made... but never submitted to deviantART. The original was made some time in 2009/2010 and was just a humanoid arm with a rose growing on it. The original meaning was intended to be a little vague, but I decided to make it even more subjective by pulling back the camera and making the machine look like this. Visual storytelling.
Stumbled upon your deviant art page from a comment you posted on youtube and I am really glad I did. Wonderful detail and to say that this is awe-inspiring would be to putting it lightly.
Funny enough it was just the top comment on a Team Fotress 2 video, not exactly sure what it was now, but it's when I saw your picture that I wanted to go to your channel. (I love Anthro characters, just no good at drawing them 3
Ah, yeah, that would be the "I want to make a Team Fortress 2 Movie" comment. X3 Well, thank you very much for checking out my channel and my deviantart page. 8D
I really like this piece. It has so many feelings stuffed into it, but feels surprisingly empty. Cold, like our mechanical friend here. Nonetheless, I really enjoy this piece of art you've created. ^^
