So I put it into the Source Engine to test some things. The model and texture isn't done yet (hence the simplicity and massive size of the texture) and the head bone didn't get assigned correctly for some reason... I mean, the "transform" bone was assigned just fine... I think, but the head bone wasn't... it gave me an extra "unknown" bone which is in the same place as the transform bone (with an alternate orientation) so I'm guessing I have to do something in the QC file? I'll get that figured out. Since I want this to work correctly in Garry's Mod and SFM under normal circumstances, I'll need to make sure the head bone gets assigned right. More important than the "transform" bone.
This is also great practice because I'm thinking of making some items for TF2 as well just for fun (and hey, if it gets in and people like it enough to buy it, that'd be sweet, too). Which in turn will be great practice to model my own things for Source Filmmaker and such.
